Version 1.0 of iSolv's secure messaging product, TSPMail, is now available. TSPMail provides security for the sender and recipients of electronic mail messages using conventional Internet mail software such as Microsoft Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger, Eudora, Pegasus Mail and others without any modification.
"Unlike conventional e-mail security products, TSPMail provides strong data cryptography transparently securing inbound and outbound mail regardless of the type of Internet e-mail software product used", says Jayesh Nana, director of iSolv Technologies.
With conventional e-mail, messages transmitted over networks can be intercepted, read and modified. Furthermore, as these messages reside on mail servers, they are also subject to disclosure and tampering. Organizations can use TSPMail to overcome these shortcomings. Digital enveloping, together with industry-accepted digital ID technology is incorporated within TSPMail to provide this functionality.
Nana also believes that "TSPMail is an ideal solution for any organization that wants to outsource its messaging requirement but is concerned about the confidentiality, integrity and authenticity of messages stored on a server that is outsourced."
